BCF Summer Camp Philosophy

The Boulder County Force summer soccer camps will provide an environment for soccer development for players of all abilities.  Our camps will maintain a focus on the BCF club values of community, character, passion and achievement.  Players will receive small-group training involving soccer fundamentals, techniques and tactics.  Activities will be designed to accommodate players of all skill levels and abilities.  The camps welcome recreational and competitive based players who are looking not only to improve themselves as soccer players, but also to have FUN playing the beautiful game of soccer.

BCF Summer Camp Daily Schedule

A traditional day of camp will consist of a fun, active warm-up followed by a session focusing on individual skill development and technical training.  Small group skills games will focus on the  “technique of the day” and emphasis will be placed on using that technique in a game situation.

Small group games will introduce tactical training including the understanding of the attacking roles and the defending roles of all players on the field.  Camp will regularly conclude with a larger game played to goals.

Camp will begin promptly at 9AM each morning. Players need to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and a light snack.  All players should wear appropriate soccer shoes and shin guards.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup will be played this summer in Germany as well as regular season MLS action in the United States.  We will encourage our players to follow the action and will find time each day for trivia and discussion of the on-goings throughout the world of professional soccer.

Please contact Camp Director Adam Hayes with any questions or comments about summer camp.
