Welcome to our Big Sister/Little Sister Page

This will be the page of events, pictures, and information on our newly rolled out Big Sister/Little Sister Program.  Last year we began the program on a trial basis with our current U-16 Buffs and U-12 Buffs teams.  Given the success of the first year, we are rolling it out across all of our girls teams who wish to participate.  We will pair Tier I teams, with Tier I teams, and Tier II teams with Tier II teams so that each player has the same experiences as those of her Big/Little Sister.  We found that the Little Sisters truly idolized and, thus, emulated the Big Sisters throughout the year.  We also found that the responsibility of having a Little Sister for the Big Sisters helped in the growth of their confidence, leadership, and role modeling behavior.  We are excited to provide this opportunity for all of our Junior Girls Players. 

The beauty of the program is that players can do as much as they wish to with their counterparts.  We had a Big Sister who would share the scores and updates with her newly provided Little Sister after every game/tournament.  We had a Little Sister who would show up at each their Big Sisters games, and sit on the bench learning much about the game. 

We do ask that for the bare minimum.  The bare minimum is to have the players go to at least 1 of their counterparts games throughout the season, and the participation in the Bowling Night at Splitz where we will have pizza and a great night of bowling with the whole program (now extended over 8 teams). We will provide updates on all schedules for teams and their participation in the program on this page.
