BCF Man U vs Co Ice Blue -  3 x 0

Man U played very well in their first game of the tournament.  The morning started with a chill, but soon it became warmer, ideal for a good soccer match.  Thomas scored the first goal at 5 minutes of the first half, with an assist by Dylan.  The second goal was also scored by Thomas, at 17 minutes.  Alex, our first half goalie made 2 great saves.   During the second half of the match Alex came onto the line and Dylan went into the goal.  It turned out to be a good switch, as Alex scored a goal at 45 minutes, assisted by Will.  Then Dylan made an incredible save when it was only him versus the striker.  Every one played very well and it was a team effort that won this game for MAN U !!! 

Now it´s time to get ready for our 2:00 pm game against Vail Crush.

 Our second game of the tournament went very well as well.  We had  two players score their first goals of the season: CONGRATULATIONS  Jack and  Solomon. Terran scored two goals and Thomas scored one goal.   The team continues to improve and we see some players really developing their games:  Rishabh and Matthew.  Good job guys.  Spenser, Connor and Charlie were solid in the defense and kept their cool when pressured.  Butch and Whitt are doing a great job covering the midfield. Dylan played today with his turbo engine turned on !!!!  Will did a great job covering the right wing.  All in all solid performances by the whole team.

Tomorrow our first game against Real CO White will be a tough game.  Let´s focus and do our best !

This was a tough match, as we had expected.  This team was undefeated and had two shut -outs so far.  But it was a game that could have gone either way.  Unfortunately we were unable to score and they scored in the last minute of the game.  All the players showed a lot of heart and played a strong game.  We classified as the second team in our pool.  Way to go guys !!!

This was the toughest game of all, for a number of factors:  primarily they were a stonger team,  more organized on the field, the players maintained their positions and have very good basic soccer skills.  Other factors that worked against us were:  we had a 9:00 am game, while the other team did not, our players were already tired, and we were missing two players on the bench.   It was a great learning experience for the boys to see that, by working hard during practices, by listening to the coaches and by training basic skills they too can become a team as stong as Real Co Red.

LET’S WORK HARD TO IMPROVE OUR STANDINGS IN OUR LEAGUE AND GET SOME MORE WINS FOR OUR TEAM !!!
