Competitive Overview

The following outlines the 2010-2011 team program options for U11-U18 Boulder County Force soccer players. As an evolution of the Boulder County Force Strategic Planning, the Club offers three distinct tiers for U11-U14 players. The Club asks that each inquiring family review the three tiers below prior to tryouts.

The goal with a three-tier program is to provide deliverable quality programming that matches the interest, commitment and playing levels of the membership. The BCF Values and Vision are the foundation of the Club’s organization. The BCF mission is to align structure, resources, culture, and objectives with delivery of the highest quality experience for every level of player.

Did you know...
The Boulder County Force Soccer Club has had more competitive club players play high school varsity, Olympic Development Program, All-Conference, All-State, All-Regional, and collegiate soccer players than any other club the Boulder County/North Metro area. There are more Boulder County Force club players represented on Boulder Valley and St. Vrain School District varsity soccer rosters than any other club. In fact, no other club even comes close to providing local high schools with players prepared for success at the varsity level and beyond.

Over 200 BCF players have gone onto play college soccer including All-Conference and NCAA All-American student-athletes.
BCF soccer players have played professionally and have been selected for the US National Teams.

Tryouts are open to soccer players from all areas. In addition to tryouts, players already in the Club are evaluated throughout the year for appropriate competitive team placement. This process creates multiple teams at each age level and allows each player to be on a team that best suits his or her technical ability, commitment, athletic prowess and tactical awareness.

For all returning Force players, team placement is an ongoing process that really begins at the first practice of the new season. Force players should be aware that player placement is based more on their previous season, which includes practice participation and commitment, league and tournament play. The few hours of tryouts can influence the final decision. For players new to the Force, tryouts are an opportunity to showcase their abilities, athleticism and work ethic for placement within the club structure.
