Force Welcomes 3 New Board of Directors
Please join me welcoming our new board members: Adam Hayes, Stuart Mann, and Tami Smith. Their expertise in various areas will be of great benefit to BC Force.
I would like to extend my thanks to the outgoing board members Peter Bowers, Jeff Frykholm, and Bruce Gamble for their dedication, involvement, and contribution. They have been instrumental in BC Force’s success. I am sure I will see them involved in other capacities with the club.

Adam R. Hayes
Why are you interested in serving as a member of the BCF Board of Directors?
I have really enjoyed my coaching experiences over the past 3 years with the Boulder County Force (BCF) and would like to increase my involvement with the club. I think I have some exciting ideas regarding both player and coaching development in line with the vision and values of the club.
Relevant Experience and/ or Employment:
Having been a life-long soccer player and 3-year coach, I am confident in my understanding of the game, but I am also confident that I still have much to learn about the game of soccer. Regarding my occupation: I am currently a faculty member in the Department of Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I teach human anatomy and human physiology lectures and coordinate the human anatomy labs. I am also co-director of the University Wellness Program.
Area(s) of Expertise/Contribution (s) you feel you can make:
As the current coach of the Boys U13 Red team and the BCF Coaches Men’s team, I feel I can contribute to the Board by providing a view of ideas and experiences from a first hand coaching perspective. As a player for 23 years from youth recreation to high-level youth soccer to state champion to high school, college and men’s league soccer, I have experienced the game from many different perspectives and am a true believer that soccer is a sport that can be enjoyed for life.
