UPDATED -- 1600 Youth Play Boulder County Force Soccer
Force anticipates 2000 members by end of 2010.

The Boulder County Force continues experienced significant growth in player registration with approximently 1600 players during the fall 2009 season up frm 1350 as of Fall 2008.  Registration is up over 300% since 2004. The significant growth is accredit to an increase in player registration at the high school ages, a steady increase in U9-U11 players since 2004 and the fall 2007 launch of the Force U5-U14 recreational program.  In total, the Force has close to 100 youth teams and one adult team.  At the youngest ages (4-5 year olds) the Force currently field teams 13 teams and has teams for boys and girls through 12th grade. At the oldest ages the club fields an adult team that competes in the Premier Division of City of Boulder Soccer League.

Over the past 5 years, the Force has seen a significant growth in membership from communities throughout Boulder County and North Metro.  35% of the club’s players live outside of the City of Boulder -- the next two most represented cities are Longmont and then Superior.

Each year the Force is seeing more soccer players from a broader geographic radius registering for its programs and attending tryouts. In addition to players from throughout Boulder County, this year  players from Fort Collins, Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster, Golden, Arvada and Wheat Ridge attended tryouts. At the recreational level, the Force has players from every Boulder County community. The reputation of the Force U9 and U10 Developmental Academy is attracting players from Longmont to Superior and even outside the county. The recreational program is really growing and has more than doubled since fall 2007.

For 2009-2010, the Force anticipates continued growth in player registration at all levels, especially at the U5-U10 programs.
