1200 Youth Play Boulder County Force Soccer
Membership up nearly 300% since 04-05 season
The Boulder County Force has experienced significant growth in player registration this year and now has just over 1200 players in Force uniforms. Registration is up nearly 300% since 2004. The significant growth is accredit to an increase in player registration at the high school ages, a steady increase in U9-U11 players since 2004 and the fall 2007 launch of the Force recreational program. In total, the Force has 82 youth teams and one adult team.  The Force currently field teams from kindergarten to adult.

Over the past 4 years, the Force has seen a significant growth in membership from communities throughout Boulder County and North Metro.  30% of the club’s players live outside of the City of Boulder -- the next two most represented cities are Longmont and then Superior.

Each year the Force is seeing  more soccer players from a broader geographic radius registering for its programs and attending tryouts. This year  players from Fort Collins, Northglenn, Thornton, Golden, Arvada and Wheat Ridge attended tryouts. At the recreational level, the Force has players from every Boulder County community. The reputation of the Force U9 and U10 Developmental Academy is attracting players from Longmont to Superior and even outside the county. The recreational program is really growing and nearly doubled between the fall 2007 and spring 2008.

For 2008-2009, the Force anticipates continued growth in player registration at all levels, especially at the U5-U12 programs.
