Kevin Beyer (U14 Red Boys) Invited to id2 National Identification Development Program

US Club Soccer’s id2 National Identification Development Program brings together the nation’s top youth players for four days of competition, evaluation and fun. Players are identified to participate in one of three  id2 Regional Training Camps as a result of a yearlong scouting program. The id2 Program is a unique national player identification program because players are scouted in actual games rather than attending tryouts. Players are unaware that they are being evaluated. An invitation-only event, the id2 Regional Training Camps also seek to identify and develop the country’s best players for inclusion in US Soccer’s youth national team programs. US Soccer Youth Development Program staff are in attendance at the id2 Regional Training Camps to monitor players’ performances.

Kevin Beyer is the first Boulder County Force player to be invited to the id2 Progam. Each year only a handful of Colorado players receive an id2 invitation. The id2 Program is only open to players born in 1994 and 1995. Once players arrive at an id2 Regional Training Camp, US Club Soccer covers all player expenses. Players’ training uniforms, balls, bags and other equipment are provided by Nike, the Official Equipment Supplier of US Club Soccer.

Kevin Beyer, began playing with the Boulder County Force in the U10 Developmental Academy. He played U11 Red with Coach Hardy Kalisher, U12 & U13 with Coach Adam Hayes and is currently playing U14 Red with Coach John Welsch. In 2008, Kevin was named to the Colorado Olympic Development Program State Pool and attended the Region IV (Far West) ODP Camp.

Kevin will be attending the October 10-13, 2008 id2 Regional Camp at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Congratulations and good luck!
