The U15 Red Girls coached by Adam Hayes, U12 Red Girls coached by Ryan Henkel and the U13 Red Boys coached by Hardy Kalisher have advanced to the quarter-finals of the Colorado State Cup. The Colorado State Cup is the state level stage of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. In the fall, Colorado’s top U12-U18 girls and U12-U13 boys teams complete at State Cup. In the spring, U14-U18 boys teams play Colorado State Cup. Congratulations and good luck to the Force teams in the quarter-finals.
The U15 Red Girls won their quarter-final game 2-1 vs. Arsenal Gold and will play Real Colorado in the semi-finals on Sunday, September 28.
The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series is the country’s most prestigious national youth soccer tournament, providing approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer State Associations showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play.
The US Youth Soccer National Championships cap a yearlong series of competitions for boys and girls teams in multiple age brackets as teams earn their way from the top teams in their state to the regional championship tournaments. US Youth Soccer State Champions and selected wildcard teams through US Youth Soccer Regional Leagues in most age groups are eligible to compete in one of four US Youth Soccer Regional Championships. The champions in the Under-14 through Under-19 age brackets from each regional event will converge in July for the US Youth Soccer National Championships.
